Have you heard of Dalgona coffee before? I’m a huge fan of South Korean food and when I saw this popular coffee drink beginning to trend on social media, I had to try it!
Like I said, I’m a huge fan of South Korean food. I love bulgogi , bubble tea (not from South Korea, but popular there), kimchi, sundubu-jjigae, pa jun, and more. I’m lucky that one of my husband’s good friends is Korean. He and his wife love to cook and have people over which is awesome. I feel like South Koreans know what’s good so that brings me to Dalgona coffee.
Dalgona coffee is a frothy and cold coffee drink made with instant coffee, milk, sugar, and ice. The name comes from a popular toffee treat from South Korea.
This beautiful drink isn’t hard to make at all. The hard part is whisking but I think it’s worth it for such a yummy treat. I like to make a Dalgona coffee after lunch to put a much needed pep in my step to get me through the afternoon.
