Snickers Apple Salad {without pudding mix}

Snickers Apple Salad

If you’re needing an idea to use up some of your leftover Halloween candy, then this Snickers apple salad is a must try recipe for you! I love bringing this recipe to potlucks or family gatherings, it always gets so many compliments. This recipe is also super easy to make, you don’t even have to peel the apples.

This snickers apple salad is such a fun dish to bring to parties and potlucks. It is extra sweet and decadent. It’s also a great way to use up any leftover Halloween, Valentine’s or Easter candy.

What ingredients do I need to make this salad?

For this snickers apple salad, you will need:

  • Green apples
  • Red apple
  • Snickers candy bar (one regular size or four fun size pieces)
  • Whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)
  • Whipped cream cheese
  • Toasted pecan pieces (optional)

I find that using only green apples makes this snickers apple salad a little too tart. I like to use a mix of both green apples and one red apple. For the Snickers bar, you just need one regular sized candy bar but if you are using up holiday candy you will need several fun size or mini bars. I also like to use whipped cream cheese instead of regular cream cheese. I find that the whipped cream cheese is easier to blend with the whipped topping.

How do I make this recipe?

Begin by gathering and measuring out your ingredients. You will need:

  • 2 green apples
  • 1 red apple
  • 1 Snickers candy bar chopped into pieces
  • 1 tub of whipped topping (such as Cool Whip)
  • 1 tub of whipped cream cheese (8 ounces)
  • Toasted pecan pieces (optional)

Begin by using a hand mixer to mix the cool whip and whipped cream cheese together. Then chop the apples and candy bar into small bite sized pieces. Mix everything together well and serve chilled.
