We had so much fun doing this ice skate printable. I set out lots of supplies for my two kids so that we could have lots of fun with this template.
Glitter
I think we had the most fun using glitter to decorate our ice skates. We used a glue stick and then sprinkled glitter where we wanted it to go. I dusted it over the trash can and let it dry.
Watercolors
I love using watercolors because they are a lot less messy than regular paints. My kids also love them.
Tempura paint sticks
I love using tempura paint sticks with my kids. They are not only super easy to use but they are way less messy than traditional paints.
Puffy paint
Puffy paint would also be a fun idea for this printable.
To make puffy paint combine equal parts non-toxic white glue and shaving cream. Next, add a few drops of food coloring. Any brand will do. I usually use about ¼ cup of both shaving cream and glue then add a few drops of coloring until it is the right color.
I recommend that you put some newspaper or cardboard down because the puffy paint can seep through regular paper.

I loved how you have given different ways to color/use the skate printable rather than just using crayons or coloring pencils.
