Classic Pasta Salad
Ah, pasta salad. I adore pasta salad. This classic pasta salad is great for a side dish, potlucks, picnics, baby showers, or when you have leftover pasta you need to use up! Good salami with a little spice, crunchy bell peppers, tasty ham, and zesty Italian dressing, what’s not to love about this versatile dish?
1/2 red bell pepper diced
1/2 yellow bell pepper diced
1/2 bottle of light Italian dressing (I used Newman’s Own)
1/2 cup of hard salami cut into small chunks
1/2 cup of ham cut into small chunks
1/2 pound of pasta (I used bowtie)
Begin by boiling the pasta and cook thoroughly. Run the pasta under cool water and drain.
Combine the remaining ingredients and let marinate for at least three hours before serving. If possible, marinate overnight for the best flavor.
