Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.
Cook your bacon, let it cool, and then chop it. Saute your diced onion with a little of the bacon fat (not all).
Spray a 9 x 13 inch baking dish with non-stick spray. Add the bacon and onion. Next add the beans and remaining ingredients. Stir gently.
Crockpot Instructions
Cook your bacon, let it cool, and then chop it. Saute your diced onion with a little of the bacon fat (not all).
Spray your crockpot with non-stick spray. Add the bacon and onion. Next, add the beans and remaining ingredients. Stir gently.
Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours or on high for 3 to 4 hours.
Notes
Add the Dr Pepper last if using your oven, if you don’t use the entire can it’s OK.
Don’t drain your pork and beans.
Try using the boxed pre-cooked bacon to save on prep time.
