This easy cherry cobbler recipe with frozen cherries is great if you're in the mood for something sweet but you don't want to spend a lot of time in the kitchen.

frozen cherries

butter

white sugar

vanilla extract

lemon juice

refrigerated pie crust
(1 package should contain two pieces of dough)
Instructions
Run warm water over your frozen cherries and then wring out any excess water.
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees, roll your pie crust out and cut it in half.
In a saucepan combine the butter, cherries, sugar, lemon, and vanilla over low heat.
Once the butter begins to soften add a splash of water and set to boil.
Once the fruit mixture begins to boil, reduce the heat and let it simmer.
Place the first half of the pie crust in a glass loaf pan (9 x 5), add the fruit filling and then layer the other half of the crust on top.
Bake for approximately 30 minutes or until lightly golden.
