Easy Apple Cake Recipe
This apple cake isn't overly sweet but it's still a delicious fall recipe.
Servings 8 people
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 3 eggs beaten
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
- 3 medium apples peeled and chopped into small pieces
- 1 ¼ cups vegetable oil
- 3 tbsp water
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees and grease a 9 x 13 inch pan.
Combine the dry ingredients and then mix well with a large spoon.
Next, add eggs, oil, vanilla, and water. Mix well with a hand mixer then add the apples in.
Stir in nuts, if desired.
Use a spatula to evenly distribute the batter into the 9 x 13 inch pan.
Bake for 40 to 45 minutes at 350 degrees or until a toothpick comes out clean from the middle.
