Copycat Cheddar's Carrots
These copycat Cheddar's carrots are simmered in brown sugar and butter. They are a super easy and inexpensive side dish. They're great for a regular weeknight dinner or perfect as a holiday side.
Servings 4 people
- 1 bag baby carrots (about 16 ounces)
- ½ stick unsalted butter (4 tablespoons)
- ½ tsp salt
- ⅓ cup dark brown sugar
- 2 tbsp honey
- ¼ cup water
In a large pot, melt the butter on medium heat.
Add the carrots, salt, brown sugar, water, and honey. Stir well.
Cook for about 15 to 20 minutes or until the carrots are tender.
