4cupsapplespeeled and chopped (about 4 medium apples)

For the topping
¾cupall purpose flour(90 grams)
⅓cupbuttermelted and cooled (76 grams)
¾cupbrown sugar(156 grams)
¾cupquick oatsor old fashioned
½teaspooncinnamon
¼teaspoonnutmeg
½cupsourdough discard
Instructions
Begin by preheating your oven to 375° F.
Next, melt your butter and set it aside to cool.
Peel and chop your apples.
Place your apples in a greased 8 inch pan and toss with the cinnamon and sugar.

Next, combine your ingredients for the topping in a large bowl. Stir until combined.
⅓ cup butter, ¾ cup brown sugar, ¾ cup all purpose flour, ¾ cup quick oats, ¼ teaspoon nutmeg, ½ cup sourdough discard
Using a spatula or a large spoon cover the apples with the mixture.
Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until the apples are bubbling and the crisp is golden brown.
