These Copycat Starbucks Chocolate Chip Cookies are a great homemade version of one of your coffee shop favorites! They taste just like the real deal but you will save time and money by making them at home.
Begin by preheating your oven to 325°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper (not wax paper).
With either a hand or stand mixer cream together your softened butter, vanilla, honey, brown sugar, and white sugar.
¾ cup brown sugar, ½ cup white sugar, ½ tablespoon honey, ½ cup unsalted butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Next add in the remaining ingredients except for the chocolate chips. Mix until everything is well combined.
¾ cup all purpose flour, ¾ cup whole wheat flour, 1 teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon baking soda, 1 large egg
With a large spoon, stir in the chocolate chunks.
1 ¼ cup semi sweet chocolate chunks
Using a large cookie scoop (about 3 tablespoons of dough) form a dough ball. Place the dough onto your parchment paper lined baking sheet.
Bake for 14 to 17 minutes or until the edges are golden. Let the cookies rest 10 to 15 minutes after baking before transferring. This will finish baking them and help them be soft and chewy.
