These rice crispy treats made with marshmallow fluff (also called marshmallow creme) are such an easy and delicious no bake treat!

cups
rice cereal
such as Rice Krispies
4
tablespoons
unsalted butter
7
ounces
marshmallow fluff
also called marshmallow creme

teaspoon
pure vanilla extract

salt

Instructions
In a large pot, melt your butter on low with the pinch of salt (optional).

1 pinch salt
Once your butter is melted add in the marshmallow fluff and stir well over low heat. Stir slow and on low until well combined.
7 ounces marshmallow fluff
Once the marshmallow fluff is melted in, turn the heat off and stir in the vanilla extract.
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
Pour the mixture over your rice cereal and stir it together.
5 cups rice cereal
Gently press it into a well greased 8 x 8 pan.
Cool for at least 2 hours before cutting and serving.

Notes
Use fresh cereal and marshmallow fluff. Using stale ingredients will really impact the quality of your treats.
Don't press the treats down too hard when putting them in the pan. Pushing them down too much will make them tough.
Use pure vanilla extract for the best results.
Reduce the heat before adding your vanilla extract in.
