This V8 Turkey Chili is a super easy chili recipe. It is a hearty, comforting recipe that's perfect with shredded cheese or crackers on top. The V8 does all the heavy lifting in this recipe and really brings the flavor out in the chili!
1candiced tomatoes with green chiles (mild)about 14.5 ounces, do not drain
1small white oniondiced
1green bell pepperdiced with the membranes and stem removed
2tablespoonschili powder
½teaspooncumin
½teaspoongarlic powder
3 ½cupsV8 vegetable juiceregular or low sodium
1cankidney beansrinsed and drained
1canwhite beans rinsed and drained
salt and pepperto taste
Instructions
Stove-top
Dice your onion and bell pepper (remove the seeds, membranes, and stem) into small pieces.
Brown your ground turkey in a large pot with the diced onion and green bell pepper then drain the fat.

Add the remaining ingredients and stir well.
1 can diced tomatoes with green chiles (mild), 2 tablespoons chili powder, ½ teaspoon cumin, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, 3 ½ cups V8 vegetable juice, 1 can kidney beans, 1 can white beans, salt and pepper
Bring to a boil then reduce to a simmer. Let the chili simmer for 1-2 hours before serving.
Slow Cooker
Dice your onion and bell pepper (remove the seeds, membranes, and stem) into small pieces.
Brown the ground turkey and then drain the fat.

Spray your slow cooker with non-stick spray and add the ground turkey.
Add the remaining ingredients and then stir well.
1 pound ground turkey, 1 can diced tomatoes with green chiles (mild), 1 small white onion, 1 green bell pepper, 2 tablespoons chili powder, ½ teaspoon cumin, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, 3 ½ cups V8 vegetable juice, 1 can kidney beans, 1 can white beans, salt and pepper
Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
