Witch Hat Printable Template

This witch hat template is so fun for Halloween. Kids can decorate and color this spooky Halloween printable.

I have been busy trying to get all the fall printables ready. Each year our neighborhood goes all out for Halloween. I know that my kids as well as all the other kids in the neighborhood love it! Heck, I love it.

My oldest has been asking to do arts and crafts and I thought it would be fun to use the printables to decorate our door. We will do pumpkins and other things closer to Halloween but I feel like printables are great because they are way less messy and so easy to put together.

We used this template in several different ways including puffy paint, glitter, and tempera paint sticks. This witch hat also makes for an awesome coloring page with just crayons or markers!

Puffy Paint

To make puffy paint combine equal parts non-toxic white glue and shaving cream. Next, add a few drops of food coloring (orange and black would be fun). Any brand of white glue will work. Paint it on with a large paint brush.

I always put something under the paper when doing puffy paint because it can bleed through. Scrap paper or newspaper both work great.

Tissue Paper

This is probably my kids’ favorite way to use these types of printables. They love to rip up tissue paper and then glue it on the paper. We used leftover gift tissue paper and a glue stick.

Tempera Paint Sticks

We also tried out our tempera paint sticks.

Glitter

Glitter witch hats are a fun way to use this template. We used a glue stick, poured glitter over the hat, then shook the excess off in the trash.

Use as a coloring page and more
