Ingredients needed

For this sandwich, make note of the following:

  • Bacon: I used the pre-cooked kind because that’s what I had on hand.
  • Mayonnaise: I used Duke’s because a lot of restaurants use this brand.
  • Honey mustard: I used a bottled one but you can make your own by combining two tablespoons of mayonnaise, two tablespoons of regular mustard, and two tablespoons of honey. Whisk well.

See my recipe card below for a complete list of the ingredients with measurements.

Recipe instructions (step by step guide)

Toast your bread in a toaster (or you can use your oven to do them all at once).

If you’re using regular bacon (I used the pre-cooked kind) fry your bacon and drain the fat the slices on paper towels. Set aside to cool.

Next, set aside three slices. Add mayonnaise and mustard to two slices of bread (Step #1).

Add one slice of Swiss cheese to one piece, one piece of cheddar to another, and the spring mix and sliced tomato to the last (Step #2).

Add bacon to one slice, turkey to another, and ham to the last (Step #3).

Place the slices on top of each other and cut into quarters. Add a toothpick to hold the sandwiches together (if desired, remove before eating).

Repeat directions to assemble the second sandwich.

Recipe FAQs

How do I store leftovers?

Store any leftover sandwiches in your fridge inside of an airtight container. I recommend only storing them for a day or two as they are best eaten immediately after making.

Can I use other types of bread for this club?

Yes, McAlister’s Deli uses a variety of breads for their sandwiches, including white, wheat, marble rye, croissants, and Ciabatta.

What’s the best way to speed-up preparation?

I recommend toasting the bread slices in the oven, over a toaster, which will substantially decrease preparation times.

Expert Tip

  • I used Ken’s honey mustard but you can easily make your own by combining two tablespoons of mayonnaise, two tablespoons of regular mustard, and two tablespoons of honey. Whisk well.

***Nutritional information is an estimate only.
To speed up time, bake the bread, don’t use a toaster.
I used wheat bread, but rye, white, marble, croissants, or Ciabatta will all work.
