My kids really enjoy doing almost any type of crafty thing including dot marker pages, sensory bins, and paper plate crafts too. I wanted to create an easy Easter craft that we could do with some friends. We have done a Valentine’s Day Paper Plate Wreath, a MLK Day Paper Plate Wreath, and a Winter Paper Plate Wreath so I decided to make just one more for Easter.

💭 Why you’ll love this

This is a simple Easter themed craft to set up. This wreath is low prep and low mess too. Kids can also put their own spin on this wreath with any supplies you have on hand (such as pom poms, glitter, stickers, etc).

🖍️ Supplies needed

You need just a few supplies to make this wreath. You probably already have them on hand too. You will need:

  • Paper plates
  • Printable Easter themed art to cut out (see below)
  • Crayons, markers, or paint
  • Tape or glue
  • Scissors

✂️ How to make (step by step guide)

A collage with four steps showing how to make an Easter paper plate wreath.

Begin by coloring a paper plate with crayons, paint, or markers (step 1).

Next, fold the plate in half and cut a circle out of the middle (step 2).

Color the Easter art in with crayons, markers, or colored pencils then cut them out (step 3). You can print more than one page if you want to add more to your wreath.

Tape or glue the art to your wreath (step 4).

⭐ Tips

  • Tape a piece of string, ribbon, or a pipe cleaner folded in half to the back so you can hang the wreath up.
  • Have your child put their own spin on this craft with things like stickers, dot markers, or glitter.
  • We used crayons but you can use paint, if you like.
