After you try this recipe, you’ll never want a can of creamed corn again. This sweet and creamy Instant Pot creamed corn is such an easy recipe and your Instant Pot will do all the hard work for you.

This Instant Pot creamed corn is a great side dish for such a wide variety of dishes. This easy to make side dish goes great with crockpot barbecue chicken thighs, whole chicken, or even as a side to ham or roasted turkey during the holidays.

    Ingredients needed

For this recipe, you will need:

    • Frozen corn: You’ll need two bags (about 12 ounces each).
    • Unsalted butter: Butter and corn just go together!
    • Cream cheese: I used full fat cream cheese.
    • Heavy cream: The heavy cream really gives this corn a restaurant quality taste.
    • Sugar and honey: To sweeten the corn.
    • Salt and pepper: I recommend adding salt and pepper to taste.

    How to make

Add the ingredients to your pressure cooker.

Seal the lid and set to cook on high for 3 minutes. When the cycle is complete, use the quick release.

Open the lid once the quick release cycle is done and then stir well.

    Tips

    • Use full fat cream cheese for the best results.
    • Stir well before serving.
    • Use the keep warm function on your Instant Pot to make this corn for potlucks or holiday dinners.

I had to try this recipe since I grew up on grandma’s creamed corn and actually have been missing it. I like your addition of cream cheese, it adds so much more creaminess.
