Copycat Buffalo Wild Wings Ranch in a silver bowl

I love this copycat ranch recipe, it is so easy to make. It obviously goes great with wings as well as french fries, veggie sticks, or on a salad.

With two small children, we can’t always go out to eat so making copycat recipes at home has been awesome. I don’t feel like I’m missing out at all. My kids also really loved this ranch with carrot sticks.

Ingredients needed

ingredients needed to make Copycat Buffalo Wild Wings Ranch

For this recipe, you will need:

  • Mayonnaise: I used Hellman’s but you can use whatever your favorite brand is. Be sure to use mayonnaise and not Miracle Whip.
  • Sour cream: Use a full fat sour cream for the best results.
  • Buttermilk: I highly recommend buying buttermilk for the best results but you can also make your own buttermilk by adding one tablespoon of lemon juice to one cup of milk.
  • Dried minced parsley, dried dill weed, garlic powder, onion powder, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper: The spices for the ranch.

How to make

In a large bowl, first combine the mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk. Stir well. Next add in the spices and whisk. Let the mixture sit in your fridge for about 30 minutes before serving.

Tips

  • If you want a thicker ranch, add extra mayonnaise.
  • Be sure to let the ranch sit in the fridge for about 30 minutes. This will bring out the flavors.

How to store

Store this ranch in airtight container in your fridge (I like to use a mason jar). It will be good for one week after making.

Doesnt taste like BWW ranch to me but still very good! This is my go to recipe with two little tweaks. I add chives and minced garlic to mine for a extra zing.
