These Instant Pot maple carrots are so easy to make. They’re the perfect side dish for weeknight dinners. They’re also great to make in your Instant Pot during the holidays to free up room in your oven!

These Instant Pot maple glazed carrots are delicious, simple to make, and use only four ingredients. They’re also kid approved and family friendly. It doesn’t get much better than that.
My Instant Pot is one of my favorite kitchen gadgets. I love using it to get dinner on the table or in this case to make a quick and easy side dish. My kids absolutely loved these carrots and I loved that they were so fast and easy!
Ingredients needed
This is such an easy peasy recipe. You will need:
- Carrots: You’ll need one pound of baby carrots. You can also substitute regular carrots that have been sliced, if desired.
- Butter: I recommend using unsalted butter so you can control the amount of salt going into the recipe. If you only have salted butter, then you may want to leave out the salt in this recipe.
- Maple syrup: To sweeten the carrots.
- Salt: I recommend doing salt to taste.
How to make
To make these carrots, add all the ingredients to your Instant Pot.
Set your valve to sealing then cook on high pressure for two minutes for tender carrots or three minutes for very soft carrots.
Once the cycle is over, perform a quick release.
Stir well before serving. I recommend spooning some of the liquid over the carrots when serving.
