Christmas time truly is the most magical time of year. We have been having a ton of fun getting ready for Christmas at our house. My oldest loves doing these secret message printables (or I guess you could also call them decoding printables) so I wanted to share this fun Christmas themed secret message from Santa printable.

This printable is great to use just for fun or you can use it with your Elf on a Shelf!

How to use this secret message printable

There are a lot of fun ways to use this secret message from Santa. I think one of the best ideas out there is to say that your Elf on a Shelf has brought it. You can also do it the night before Christmas before leaving cookies out.

Another fun idea would be to mail this to your child so it looks like it came from Santa’s workshop. If you have another idea for using this message, I’d love to hear about it in the comments below!

    What does the message say?

In case you want to know what the secret message says before you download it, the message is, “You are on the nice list.”

    How to decode the message

Your child will decode the message by using the key at the bottom of the page. Each number will represent a letter to reveal what the message from Santa says. You can also have your child color in Santa on his sleigh, if desired.
