These free printable Summer Charades are perfect for a family game night, rainy summer day, or an activity to do inside when it’s just too hot to play outside! Both kids and grownups will have fun guessing and acting out the different summer themed charade cards.
You can never have too many activities to do with kids during the summer months. My kids love doing charades (we have done so many including these Camping Charades and Fourth of July Charades). I wanted to share a fun and free set as a summer boredom buster.

🖍️ Supplies needed
This is a very simple activity and you need just a few things that you probably already have on hand.
You will need the printable charades (to print, see the PDF further below), scissors to cut them out, and a bowl or bag to draw them from. You could laminate them or print them out on cardstock to make them extra durable but this is totally optional!
✨ What’s included?
There are 14 different summer themed charade cards in this set. Some cards are harder than others but I tried not to do anything too difficult. The fun should be in acting and guessing as this is more of a cooperative game than a competition.
📋 How to play charades
Charades are very easy to both set up and play.
Print the charades out (see further below in the post for the printable PDF, there is no email or sign up required). Cut them out and then add them to a bowl or a bag.
You can laminate them or print them on cardstock but this is optional.
Mix the cards up. Next, have the first player draw a card. They will then act out what the card says without using words or making any noises while everyone else guesses. Then continue taking turns until all the cards have been drawn.

To download and print the charade cards simply click the download button below that says, “Summer Charades”. It should be printed on portrait setting, in color, single sided and on regular (8 ½ by 11 inch) paper. I recommend laminating so you can use them over and over again!
