For this paper plate wreath craft, you will need:
- Paper plates: I recommend getting the kind without coating so that they are easier to color. If you only have the ones with coating, I recommend using paint or crayons instead of markers.
- Crayons, markers, or paint: We used crayons to keep this craft mess free.
- Glue or glue sticks: To attach the summer art. You can also use tape.
- String (optional): So you can hang the wreath up.
- Scissors: You can use plastic safety scissors if doing this craft with younger children.

✂️ How to make (step by step guide)
Begin by painting or coloring a paper plate the color of your choice (image 1). We used yellow so it was bright and sunny for our summer theme.
Next, fold the paper plate in half and cutting a circle out of the middle (image 2).
Color the summer art work (image 3). Cut it out and then glue or tape it to your wreath (image 4).
⭐ Tips
- Add stickers or other items from your craft bucket to make the wreath extra fun.
- Add a piece of string to hang up the wreath if you like. Fold it in half and tape it to the back of the wreath.
