My kids LOVE donuts but with that being said, I don’t always feel like making them from scratch or driving to go get some. These canned biscuit donuts are so easy to make. They are definitely a special treat around our house.

Another great thing about these canned biscuit donuts is that you can easily customize them. Make them extra fun by subbing the cinnamon and sugar for chocolate icing and sprinkles on top. You can get creative and use whatever else you might like. You can also make these super festive for holidays like Christmas or Valentine’s Day with red and green or pink and red sprinkles and icing.

We love to make these donuts on lazy Saturday mornings as a special weekend treat. It’s so nice to enjoy something really tasty together as a family.

I used vegetable oil for frying these canned biscuit donuts, but you can use whatever type of oil you prefer to cook with. Note that some oils have a longer heating and cooking time than others.

  1. I literally just went and added these ingredients to my Instacart order. We have nut allergies in our house so we cannot usually eat donuts. It will make my daughter’s day when I show her these! Thank you!
