- Chicken breast: You’ll need three to four boneless and skinless chicken breasts for this recipe.
- Salt, pepper, and paprika: To season the chicken with
- Regular mustard, Dijon mustard, honey, and mayonnaise: For the sauce.
- Bacon: You’ll need six pieces of bacon.
- Mushrooms: You can use fresh or canned mushrooms. You’ll need sliced mushrooms.
- Cheddar and Monterrey jack cheese: To top the chicken with.

To make this copycat Alice Springs chicken recipe, gather your ingredients. Then add the mustard, Dijon mustard, honey, and mayonnaise in a small bowl and whisk until they are well mixed.
Season your chicken with salt, pepper, and paprika.
Chop the bacon into small pieces and begin to fry it in a pan on medium heat. When the bacon begins to cook, season the chicken with salt and pepper and then add the chicken to the bacon. Cook for approximately three minutes (note that the chicken will NOT be done).
