Made this with part whole wheat flour and only 3/4 cup sugar. It was moist and delicious Brought some on a picnic and it was a hit. It took a full 65 minutes to bake on convection oven mode. My test for doneness is 190 degrees F with an instant read thermometer.

Leslie, this is my third time this week to try to make a good banana bread for my husband who likes less sugar in it. Did you use only whole wheat flour? And did you sweeten it with 3/4 cup sugar and the 1/2 cup honey also?

We keep buying bananas since the kids are home every day, and every third bunch or so goes bad before its eaten. This will be perfect! My husband has been using a kit but I’m ready for something a bit different.
