Make a garland
Use the bat template to make a fun Halloween garland!
Puffy Paint
To make puffy paint combine equal parts non-toxic white glue and shaving cream. Next, add a few drops of food coloring (purple, orange or black would be fun for Halloween). Any brand of white glue will work, I usually use the generic store brand. Paint it on with a large paint brush.
I always put something under the paper when doing puffy paint because it can bleed through. Scrap paper or newspaper both work great. If possible, use card stock to print.
Tissue Paper
Have your child rip up black tissue paper into small bits and then glue on the template.
Water Colors
Water colors adds such a fun touch to this printable.
Tempera Paint Sticks
I love using tempera paint sticks with printables. They aren’t messy like regular paint and are a great way for kids to get creative.
Crayons
This bat template is also great for using as a simple coloring page with crayons or markers.
