I have never had an Italian salad dressing like the one at Texas Roadhouse. It’s like a sweet Italian dressing with a little bit of honey mustard to it. It is definitely unique and just so good on a fresh green salad.

My copycat recipe did turn out a little lighter in color than the restaurant version but I think taste wise it is very close. It is zesty, tangy, and sweet all at the same time. • Easy: This is a quick and easy salad dressing recipe to put together.

🥣 Ingredients needed

The ingredients needed to make Copycat Texas Roadhouse Italian Dressing.

The complete list of ingredients and amounts can be found in the printable recipe card below.

For this recipe, you will need:

  • Italian dressing mix: I used a generic store brand for my recipe. It was about .7 ounces.
  • Oil: You can use a neutral vegetable oil like safflower or sunflower. Extra virgin olive oil will also work.
  • Vinegar: You’ll want to use white vinegar for this recipe.
  • Water
  • Honey: To sweeten the dressing. The one at Roadhouse has a little sweetness to it.
  • Texas Roadhouse Honey Mustard: Mayonnaise, honey, powdered sugar, Dijon mustard, and paprika.

🔪 Equipment needed

You will need a medium bowl and a whisk.

👩🏻‍🍳 Tips

  • You can adjust the amount of honey mustard depending on your own taste.

🥡 How to store leftovers

I prefer to store any leftovers in a mason jar but any airtight food storage container will work. This dressing will be good for up to five days after making.
