🥣 Ingredients needed

The complete list of ingredients and amounts can be found in the printable recipe card further below in the post.
For this salad dressing, you will need:
- Mayonnaise: I recommend using Duke or Hellman brand for the closest taste
- Buttermilk
- Oil: I used a soybean oil blend because that’s what is rumored to be used at the restaurant. You could also use olive oil or vegetable oil.
- Anchovy paste: This is different than regular anchovies so make sure you grab the paste and not plain anchovies.
- Parmesan cheese: I recommend getting a block and grating it yourself.
- Worcestershire sauce
- Red wine vinegar
- Dry mustard, garlic powder, sugar, pepper, and salt: You may need to add additional salt and pepper to taste.
- Minced garlic
- Fresh lemon juice: I recommend using fresh lemon juice for the best results.
🔪 Equipment needed
You’ll need a mixing bowl and a whisk.
⏲️ Recipe instructions (step by step guide)

Combine the ingredients into a mixing bowl (image 1). Whisk until everything is smooth and well combined (image 2). I recommend letting it sit in your fridge for about 20 minutes before serving so the flavors can really come out.
👩🏻🍳 Tips
- I recommend using the mayonnaise brand Duke’s or Hellman’s for the closest taste to the restaurant version.
- Be sure to use pre-made anchovy paste and not just anchovies.
- I recommend using a mason jar to store your dressing in.
🥡 How to store leftovers
Store any leftover salad dressing in an airtight container or mason jar with a lid. Keep in your refrigerator. It will be good for up to four days after making.

This dressing nails the flavor! I used Duke’s mayo and anchovy paste as suggested and it’s spot on. Letting it chill for 20 minutes really brought out the depth. So glad I can recreate this at home now!
