As much as I enjoy a savory snack mix, I love a sweet snack mix too. I recently made this unicorn snack mix for my daughter and her friends and they were thrilled. Leftovers are great as a side in bento-box style lunch boxes too.

⏲️ Recipe instructions (step by step guide)

Step by step guide on how to make unicorn snack mix.

Combine all of the ingredients except for the sprinkles into a large bowl (image 1). Stir well then add the unicorn sprinkles on top (image 2).

👩🏻‍🍳 Tips

  • Other flavors of Chex work too. You could even do blueberry Chex and swap the freeze dried strawberries out for freeze dried blueberries.
  • Add the sprinkles at the end. They tend to fall to the bottom easily.

🥡 How to store leftovers

Store any leftovers in an airtight container or plastic storage bag (such as Ziplock). Leftovers will be good for up to a week after making.
