🥦 Ingredients needed
For this recipe, you will need:
- Broccoli and cauliflower florets: I used a bag of florets from my grocery store that came pre-mixed. You will need about one head of each for this recipe if buying by the head. You can substitute more or less broccoli/cauliflower or use all broccoli or all cauliflower if desired.
- Bacon
- Mayonnaise: I recommend using a full fat mayo. I personally really like Duke’s mayonnaise, I also use it in my Copycat Chicken Salad Chick Classic Carol chicken salad recipe.
- Apple cider vinegar
- Sugar
- Salt

- Try adding some sunflower seeds or craisins on top.
- You can also substitute all broccoli, if desired.
⏲️ Recipe instructions (step by step guide)
Fry your bacon in a large skillet (image 1). Transfer to paper towels to drain any excess fat (image 2).
While the bacon cools, chop your broccoli and cauliflower into small pieces. Mix the mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, and salt. Whisk together (image 3).
Mix the mayonnaise mixture with the broccoli and cauliflower (image 4). Add chopped bacon on top (image 5).

- If you’re short on time you can substitute the bacon for bacon bits.
🥡 How to store leftovers
Store any leftover broccoli and cauliflower salad in your fridge in an airtight container. It will be good for up to four days after making.
