โค๏ธ Why youโll love this recipe
- Taste: This copycat recipe tastes just like the restaurant version.
- Easy: This is a simple homemade salad dressing recipe.
- Something a little different: While I’m a huge fan of Ranch, Caesar, or Italian dressings this Creamy Parmesan Salad Dressing is perfect for when you’re in the mood for something a little different.
๐ฅฃ Ingredients needed

For this recipe, you will need:
- Buttermilk: I prefer using store bought but you can also make your own. Add one tablespoon of lemon juice or vinegar to one cup of milk. Stir and let it rest for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Mayonnaise: I recommend using a heavier restaurant quality mayonnaise like Duke’s or Hellman’s. I rotate between those two brands for most of my copycat recipes.
- Sour cream
- Ranch dressing mix: I have seen dry ranch seasoning or salad dressing mix sold in packets (be sure to use just one tablespoon and not the entire packet) or in a shaker container. Either work.
- Green onion
- Parmesan and Romano Cheese Blend: Finely grated.
- Cracked black pepper: I highly recommend using cracked black pepper if you can but in a pinch you can use regular pepper. Please note if using regular black pepper it will be slightly different than the restaurant version.
- Red wine vinegar
- Freeze dried chives
